The Meetings Industry Association’s (mia) Connect Sales HIIT next month will help venues looking to improve and reenergise their selling strategies.

Keeping on top of the array of sales and marketing vehicles now available as well as refining traditional methods can drain both finances and time. The mia’s Connect Sales HIIT on 6 July at Chelsea Football Club offers high-intensity, high-impact sales training designed specifically for venues and suppliers in the sector.

Each expert-led session will focus on creating tangible outcomes delegates can take back and implement in their own workplaces, enhancing teams’ sales techniques using new marketing trends including and strengthening traditional, proven methods.

This highly informative, fast-paced day provides the perfect opportunity for sales teams to receive expert training in areas such as selling through social media, influencer marketing and brand building.

All delegates will gain unique training in a wide range of topics to ensure that all areas are enhanced to enable them to deliver sales objectives. These include:

  • Daniel Disney, The Daily Sales – The Secrets to Selling on Social
  • Ed Poland, Hire Space – Building your brand through sales and the value of consistency in building a sales team from scratch
  • Helen Sandman, MG Sales Performance – 3½ ways to instantly improve your sales results
  • James Lee, James Lee Associates – Stealth, wealth and mental health!
  • Liz Carnell, Venue Experience – The value of customer feedback
  • Mariska Kesteloo, World of Mice – Influencer marketing; just a trend or a sustainable development?
  • Tony Harris, Sales Doctor – Conducting the perfect sales call

Jane Longhurst, Chief Executive of the mia, said: “We have carefully hand-picked experts in our industry for this event to ensure that attendees receive the ultimate training day and come away feeling inspired and able to make the changes they need to exceed their expected results.”

She added: “With a wealth of industry experts sharing their secrets, this event is not only a great way to stretch any sales training budget by providing invaluable insights in one package, it also offers unrivalled networking with over 100 other sales managers, consultants and general managers where they can share experience and advice from their own time in sales.”
