The Luxembourg Conference Center Kirchberg has changed its name to European Convention Center Luxembourg (ECCL) on 1st May 2015.
This new name reflects the prestige of the infrastructure and highlights its European scope and international reputation. The ECCL offers top class facilities for high profile conferences, conventions, exhibitions and corporate events. It has the flexibility to accommodate between 50 and 800 delegates for conferences and up to 2.000 for cocktails.
The site is rented for three months a year by the Council of the European Union. The location boasts the most comprehensive range of technical, technological and security installations required by the Council of the EU, which is at the disposal of any client of the Conference Center as well.
The Convention Center is in an unbeatable location: surrounded by the most important European institutions, it is just a short walk away from several 4*/5* hotels, shopping area and tourist attractions.
The city of Luxembourg and the Kirchberg plateau, where the Luxembourg Convention Center is located, are linked to the main cities of Europe by a comprehensive motorway network, regular high-speed rail links (particularly the TGV link to and from Paris) and international air routes to Luxembourg’s international airport which is only 7km away.
